IT Specialist / Technical Services Engineer (Albuquerque, NM)
Motivated, self-starting IT specialist to work in a challenging and dynamic environment. This position will provide internal IT support for Justice Systems (50%) and technical support services for customers of our advanced web-based applications (50%). The ability to effectively work across departments in a collaborative work environment is required. Qualified candidates should have prior experience with Linux, network communications/security, relational databases, VMware, Amazon Web Services, and web technologies (e.g., Apache, Tomcat, etc).
Court Specialist (Albuquerque, NM)
Court Specialists work under the direction of the Product Manager/Senior Court Specialist to provide training and support for Court Case Management Software to new and existing clients, work with the development teams and promote case management solutions with marketing personnel.
Candidates must have experience working in a Court and have a thorough understanding of court operations, as they may be called upon to offer recommendations and suggestions to help the court adopt new procedures in order to take full advantage of a new case management system. The candidate must be teachable, creative, personable, outgoing, able to work independently with little or no supervision, and should have the ability and willingness to work in mission critical and time sensitive situations. Good verbal communication skills are a must, along with the ability and desire to travel for several days at a time.
In addition to providing training and support, the Court Specialist is a valuable resource to the development team, often providing direction and suggestions on how the application should function. The Court Specialist acts as a liaison between the court and developer to explain needed functionality in a clear and concise manner. The Court Specialist is often called upon to validate and test system functionality before it is released to the courts and to give feedback where necessary to the development team. While often working independently, the Court Specialist is a part of a team of Specialists and must be able to work as part of a group, collaborating on solutions to issues and new product development.
The Court Specialist also plays a very important role in the marketing and demonstration of the case management system. Court Specialists are called upon to assist with presentations to small and large groups in addition to responding to written Requests For Information and Requests For Proposal. For this reason, excellent presentation and writing skills are a must.
Help Desk Technician (Albuquerque, NM)
The Help Desk Technician, working under direction from the Director of Court Specialist and Product Manager, will provide first-line customer support and problem resolution for court and prosecutor staff that use Justice Systems' case management software. The Technician will need to diagnosis reported issues and guide users through step-by-step solutions via email and telephone communications. The Technician will need to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical people in a user-friendly and professional manner. The Technician will create detailed records of more severe issues and assign the issues to the appropriate department. The Technician will need to be poised and professional while handling a high volume of customer phone calls and communications.
The selected candidate will be working closely with the Court Specialist, Development and Quality Assurance teams. Meticulous attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. Candidates must be teachable, personable, outgoing, able to work independently, and should have the ability and willingness to work on mission critical and time sensitive situations.
Preferred candidates will have experience working in a court and have a thorough understanding of court operations, as they will be called upon to offer recommendations and suggestions to help the court adopt new procedures in order to take full advantage of a new case management system. Special consideration will be given to applicants who are familiar with Justice Systems' software and applications.
